The Climate

  • Northern Mozambique has two distinct seasons: the rainy season, from December to March, and the dry season, from May to October. November and April are considered transition months showing increasing and diminishing precipitation respectively. Annual precipitation around 1000mm.

Maximum temperatures in the region normally range between 25 to 34 degrees during the day, but with considerable night cooling. In the Southern hemisphere where winter is also the dry season, temperatures are lower than the wet summer months. The farm’s altitudes range from 465 to 570 meters makes it slightly cooler than surrounding areas with lower altitudes.
